NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETINGS

 The Chemung County Department of Public Works will conduct two Public Information Meetings:

 The first meeting will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at the Chemung County Department of Public Works located at 803 Chemung Street, Horseheads, NY 14845 to discuss the proposed replacements of the County Road 3 over Baker Creek Culvert (PIN 6755.69) and the County Road 29 over Dry Run Culvert (PIN 6755.70).   

The second meeting will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at the Chemung County Department of Public Works located at 803 Chemung Street, Horseheads, NY 14845 to discuss the proposed replacement of the Langdon Hill Road over Newton Creek Bridge (Project Identification Number (PIN) 6755.67).  

The projects are being progressed by the Chemung County Department of Public Works and the New York State Department of Transportation. At present, the projects are in the preliminary design phase.   Representatives from Chemung County, NYSDOT, and Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C. will be available at the meeting to answer questions and obtain comments on the proposed projects from individuals, groups, officials, and local agencies.
