Re: Special meeting of the Budget Committee

The Budget Committee of the Chemung County Legislature will hold a special meeting on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. to consider the following Resolutions entitled “Resolution of the County of Chemung exempting sales and compensating use tax from residential energy sources and services pursuant to the authority of Article 29 of the New York State Tax Law” and “Resolution of the County of Chemung electing a cents per gallon rate of sales and compensating use taxes on motor fuel and diesel motor fuel, in lieu of the percentage rate of such taxes, pursuant to the authority of Article 29 of the New York State Tax Law”.  The meeting will be held in the Legislative Chambers, John H. Hazlett Building, 203 Lake Street, 5th Floor.
