The Planning Department along with Fisher Associates and The Waterfront Advisory Commitee (WAC) is currently assisting the City of Elmira in developing their Local Waterfront Revitalization Plan (LWRP). The result of this project will be a document that guides development and investment on the Waterfront Area, with considerations for recreation, access, and safety on the Chemung River in the City of Elmira. State funding specific to the projects outlined in the City's LWRP will then be available.
