While there are no formal trails in Cliffside State forest, you can hike anywhere in the 977 acre forest as long as there is no marked sign saying otherwise. In addition to hiking opportunities, nearby Cayuta Creek can be fished in year round and primitive camping is allowed anywhere 150 feet or more away from nearby trails, roads and bodies of water.
