Newtown Battlefield State Park

Situated on the site of the historic battle of Newtown, explore over 4 miles of trails and 372 acres of forest as you follow the paths used by American soldiers during the revolutionary war during Sullivans campaign. As you walk, take a moment to read the various memorials and plaques that describe the battlefield, as well as a reconstruction of colonial cabins near the center of the park that show what life was like during early America.
