More of a scenic overlook than a hike, Van Etten wildlife Marsh is still an excellent spot to stop to soak up a pristine view and maybe catch a glimpse of some rare shorebirds. Consisting of 25 acres of protected wetland, Van Etten wildlife Marsh is home to a variety of bird species including sandpipers, herons and (occasionally) great egrets. Make sure to have your Merlin app ready to identity all the different bird calls, and enjoy viewing this natural wonder!
