The Apalachin Marsh is a small, cool spot to come and do some bird watching and to take a short stroll around the namesake marsh. Saved from the construction of a highway in 1964 by Harriet Marsi and Florence Linaberry, in 2023 one of the trails honors Harriet by taking her name. This reminds us that even the actions of one or two people can save a wild and special place forever.
