Cornell Botanic Gardens is a beautiful 150-acre area just east of Ithaca that is connected to Cornell colleges main campus. While it is less of a hike and more of a stroll through the garden, it is still a wonderful way to spend an afternoon while checking out exotic plants and enjoying the sunshine.
