Formed in 1993, the Finger Lakes Land Trust bought 128 acres from Moss and Kristin Sweedler to form the Sweedler preserve. Then in 2011, 20 more acres were added from a donation by the Thayer family, establishing the preserve as its current size today. Passing by Cayuga Inlet, there are around 2 miles of trails to explore when you check out this beautiful preserve.
